This course held over a period of 10 days and will support and develop the skills learned in the CISRS Scaffolding Part 1 course. You are only able to enroll on this course if you have gained a minimum of 6 months’ experience on site after achieving your Part 1.
You will study in a classroom environment with wide ranging, team based practical exercises to ensure you have an understanding of how to erect, make alterations to several types of common scaffolding, and to dismantle scaffolding, all in a safe manner. This will also include some computer based training exercises. There will be assessments involving multiple choice and both written and practical tests.
Upon completion of this course, you will obtain a CISRS Scaffolding Part 2 certificate, with a lifetime validity.
If you are the holder of either a Part 1 or Part 2 certificate, you are able to renew a Red (Trainee) CISRS card, however, this may only be renewed one time.
You will qualify to receive a Blue (Scaffolder) CISRS card if you hold both Part 1 and Part 2, a Scaffolding NVQ L2, and have also passed the (1 day) CISRS Skills Test.
