It is a means of access to completing the CPCS Theory and Practical qualification.
Students are trained and educated with an arrangement of both theory and practical elements throughout the course. At the end of the course, candidates will be assessed on both components with final examinations.
This CPCS A09 Course is suitable for current and prospective operators who have had no previous training, or who may need a training update. The course is recommended for those candidates with 2 years’ experience as a forward Tipping Dumper Operative, or for those with less than 3 years’ experience in the industry.
There are two detailed subtypes accessible to course operatives:
The length of the course differs depending upon the previous experience of the students. For beginner level students, the course runs for 4 days, 3 days for semi-experienced and just 2 days for those competent operatives with previous experience.
The CPCS A09 Forward Tipping Dumper course delivers a foundation training for those candidates pursuing a (CPCS) Construction Plant Competence Scheme Red Trained Operator Card.
The subsequent stage is to successfully complete the courses and receive certification as a CPCS Red Trained Operator.
To be eligible, Candidates are required to have passed a CSCS Operatives Health and Safety Test, within the previous 2 year period.
