The duration of the course is 1 day and it’s available to experienced operators who already hold a PAL card.
The methodology is structured is such a manner that the participant will accumulate all the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge in one day.
The course consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The participant begins with the theory tutoring which is followed by an interview and then a theory test. After that, the participant undergoes practical training and a practical assessment.
After successfully completing the training as well as the necessary assessments of the IPAF Vertical/Mobile Boom Advanced (3a+3b) course, the operators will be awarded with a new IPAF Smart PAL+ Card on which the Mobile Vertical (3a+) and Mobile Boom (3b+) categories are added. If your existing PAL card contains additional categories (e.g.: 1a, 1b), these will remain the same.
It is worthy to mention that the new replacement card (PAL+) holds the same expiry date as the original PAL card.
Upon receiving the Mobile Vertical and Mobile Boom certifications, you are eligible to chase certifications on other types of equipment. There is an extensive range of taught courses here to choose from and get you certified on various other mobile elevating platforms.
In order to participate in this course and opt for a certificate, you are required to hold a valid Powered Access License Card (PAL) in the corresponding categories and have operational experience with the machine equipment.
Keep in mind that being fluent in spoken and written English is necessary to complete the assessments.
